Neither. You do not get rich from being a scientist and only a few get famous.

No, unfortunately not. The chances of that happening are fairly slim. We have simpler pleasures like getting the respect of fellow scientists and people discussing our work.

Neither, and most of the famous scientists we know, only got famous after they had died.
