      There are many different cancer types depending on which region of the body is affected and which cells are the cancer cells, but the main classification is based on the cancer cells, and the division is as follows:
      Carcinoma, based on epithelial cells (normal tissue making up the body)
      Sarcoma, based on connective tissue (like bone, cartilage, fat or nerves)
      Lymphoma, based on cells in blood or lymph nodes
      Germ cell tumors, from cells like those in the testicles or ovaries
      Blastoma, from cells that haven’t become specific yet
