Absolutely, It provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge and a good set of problem solving techniques. While I do not use everything I was taught on a daily basis, most of it has come in handy once in a while

It very much is worth it! Although some things you will never need again, school teaches you how to learn and how to apply your knowledge, how to ask question and be critical and how to write. This happens in almost all subjects and these skills are important not just for becoming a scientist but for pretty much any job. It’s a bonus when you enjoy the subject too though!

Certainly was. Wish I studied harder though. Its less about what knowledge you have but having the ability to learn new things and focus on something. That’s whats important and is will be useful for anything you do in the future.
