      Californium is the rarest element in the world, so either that or francium could be the most expensive.

      The most valuable single item is the International Space Station actually at $150billion, which doesn’t include the cost of getting it up there in the first place! 😛

      Whether something is valuable of not depends on what people are willing to pay for it.
      Limited supply will of course increase the prize.
