• Question: can you offord a limo if you are a scientist ?????

      The short answer is: probably not. Scientists are not the best paid jobs in the world, but to me that never really mattered that much, because I think it is more important that you love the job that you do and then it won’t matter whether you can buy a limo or not, because the job makes you happy. And there is plenty of things that can make your life as a scientist happy and fulfilling. First, you get to lead research, so you get to be the one look into something that nobody else has done before. That really is exciting! And then you get some results when you run a study or an experiment, and no matter what you find it is always new and you know that you have contributed to knowledge and one day the things that you discover may change the way people live and it may be taught at school or university. All those things are much more important than having a limo to me. Saying that though, I am sure there are some famous scientists who do have a limo, so just keep working at it 🙂

      Limos do not appeal to me much.
      If I could afford it, I would use the money for other things.
      Besides that, you do not become a scientist for the money but because you enjoy to thrill of discovering things nobody has found before.
