• Question: How old were you when you realised you wanted to work in science?

      I was 24 when the idea crossed my thoughts for the first time. I didn’t take it seriously then. I was just about to finish my first degree at university. I did think more and more about the possibility during my masters degree the year after and finally decided to go with it with a little encouragement from my project supervisor. I have never looked back since then 🙂

      I first started to get interested at the age of 24, then I did a pieces and bits, but my decision to become a scientist was made at the age 29 – That was when I said to myself: this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
