• Question: If there was 3 times the gravity on a different planet than earth, by training there you have now practiced on a x3s the gravity and you can walk with ease on the planet will you become more stronger and faster?

      Theoretically yes. We don’t really understand the long term effects of increased gravity on humans. However, 3 times the amount is interesting because researchers believe that is the maximum increase we can cope with. Anything greater and our heart will not be able to pump blood to our brains.

      On the opposite end of the spectrum, astronauts who stay to long in space will have weaker bones and muscles when they return from space. This is one of the barriers to prolonged space flight.
