Question: What do the appendix do? And why are they there?

An appendix is added to the end of a piece of work, like an essay or a report. In an appendix you can put additional work that you think is important for people so they can use it as a reference if they want to, but it is not essential enough to be in your main text. Examples could include raw data that you collected fir instance from interviews.
