• Question: When cheese melts is it just a physical change or does it also go through a chemical change?

      Hmmm, melted cheese 🙂

      When cheese melts the ingredients in it split, so it is also a chemical change. You can see the fat in the cheese separates and you are left with mainly the milk proteins and some caramelised sugars.
