• Question: when you wait for a special day to come why does the time gets really slow and you cant wait anymore

      Our perception of time is very subjective. Athletes and people who have been in emergency situations report that time slowed down for them.

      There is also evidence to show that our emotional state is linked to our perception of time. So it could be your excitement for the day makes if feel like time is moving slower. It could also just be, when we are waiting for something we are more aware of time passing. We will check the time more often than normally, making it seem that time is moving slower than normal.
