• Question: Who's your favorite scientists ????????????

      Tricky one!!! A lot come to mind, but I guess my favourite is Leonardo da Vinci.

      He got up to all kinds of inventions, drawing (and sometimes actually building!) some crazy stuff! And he tried to cover everything: from biology to architecture and from tanks to helicopters, he threw in a couple of incredible paintings and sculptures while he was at it! He was really awesome!

      I think in terms of famous scientists we all know about it has to be Leonardo. He was a genius not just in one area but in pretty much anything he had an interest in. I still wonder how much of his work remains lost and how much else we could learn from it.

      However in my area of research it will have to be Antti Oulasvirta. He is from Finland originally and has inspired a lot of my work.
