I think anything to do with technology is really interesting as it is a really fast moving field. Something new comes out almost every day and new developments are continuously made. I am mostly interested in what effect technology has on us people. How do we interact with it? And because technology keeps changing there is always something new to look at.

But I also just really enjoy technology, which is just as important. Technology today is very creative and innovative and that excites me and I always enjoy playing with a new gadget.

I had a very good computer science teacher at school who introduced me to the joys of coding.
That made me decide to study computer science at university. Seeing the different aspects of computer science and looking at some of the more mathematics aspect of the subject, made me decide to become a computer scientist.

One day when I was in school and trying to decide what to do after graduating I kind of just looked around and noticed how common computers are. The big bulky ones on desks, the smaller ones in our phones and tablets. Then they’re in our cars and aeroplanes. It just struck me how important computers are! So I really wanted to study it because it was so important to our society and it was clearly just going to continue developing.
