All mammals have hair covering their body to a certain extent, partly because to protect the skin. Primitive humans used to be a lot hairier than we are now but over time and with evolution the amount of hair we have has decreased. The only two places that don’t have hair on our skin are the palms of our hands and the bottom of our feet.
