• Question: why does handgel have alcohol in it??? can you eat it then???

      Alcohol in hand gel kills bacteria on your hand and it helps to sanitise it. Just because something has alcohol in it, doesn’t mean you can eat it. There are lots of different types of alcohol. For example you wouldn’t want to eat/drink antifreeze!

      Don’t eat it!!! You’d be very ill! The alcohol in the handgel is there to kill stuff!

      Adding alcohol also helps it to evaporate more quickly, so all the chemicals do not say on your skin.
      Alcohol has more usages than to create beverages. Some alcohols are lethal in even very small quantities. Methanol is a good example of that.
